Wednesday morning started out a bit disappointing; we headed to nearby “Route 66 State Park” to learn more about The Mother Road…but when we arrived, the sign on the visitor’s center door said they were closed for repairs. Oh well…I’m just glad it was only about a 10-minute drive...
